30 Day Book Challenge
Ok, so if any of you know me at all, you'll know there are 3 things which pretty much completes me: Books, Coffee and Cake. If I had nothing but these 3 things, I would be fine with that. I have come to a bit of an issue with my blog. I love blogging and try to post as much as I can, mainly for 2 reasons - to provide something for my fellow readers to look at, and to get experience in writing (I want to be a journalist). The problem is that for the time being, I have encountered writers block. I have run out of things to say and therefore post for now.
After thinking long and hard, a post came up on my tumblr timeline which gave me a wonderful idea. The post was a challenge which someone I am following had decided to take up. This was the 30 day film challenge. I am NOT doing this challenge, but it gave me an idea. If there is a 30 day song challenge, a 30 day film challenge, then there must be a 30 day book challenge. Books is something which makes me very happy so I think this challenge might as well have just been made for me. Until I can get some good ideas for more posts, I'm going to take up this challenge and hopefully it will give you guys a more of an understanding of what kind of person I am (You can tell a lot about a person based on what they read) and if you are stuck on what to read next, you can look at this and see if there's anything which takes your fancy. So, I am going to start at the very beginning, a very good place to start...

30 DAY BOOK CHALLENGE - DAY 1: A book series you wish had gone on longer OR a book series you wish would just end already.
I'm very fond of many book series that I have read, but I think that if there was one series which could have gone on for just one book longer, it's The Hunger Games. Most people probably think the series ended in a good place, and that the series deteriorated the more that were written.
*SPOILERS*
Although I can see people's points of views, I think an extra book would have been a good idea, just to tie up any questions or loose ends left. I personally want to see if Katniss still loved Peeta 10 years down the line, what happened to Gale and if their children ever asked them about their time in The Hunger Games (I'm sure this would have happened, the games would have gone down in history after all!). Even if the book was not too long, just a nice ending for the main 3 characters would be a nice idea. I personally think that 10 years down the line, Katniss and Peeta are still together and happy, but Gale, overwhelmed by the guilt he has for killing all those people (Including Primrose, Katniss' sister) would have ended up committing suicide. This is a common ending I have seen in numerous fan-fictions
so I know it is not just me who can picture a (let's face it) really dark future.
Do you have any book series you want to continue? Or one you think should stop now? Let me know in the comments because I am genuinely curious!
