Best book read in the last 12 months & book you're most embarrassed to say I liked - 30 day book challenge
Best book read in the last 12 months & book you're most embarrassed to say I liked - Day 23 and 24 of the 30 day book challenge
(THIS IS ALSO GOING TO BE A VERY SHORT POST - SORRY EVERYONE)
The reason I've decided to do 2 days in one post is because I know for a fact that these posts individually will be very short, purely because the odds of the best book I've read this year being one I've already blogged about are very high...
The best book I've read this year is without question 'Me before you' by Jojo Moyes. I've already done a blogpost on this book, so I won't spend too long elaborating on it; all I will say is that it it the first book in a long time to have made me feel raw emotion - what the author put into the book is exactly what I got out of it.
The next thing is a book I am embarrassed to say I liked. I don't have a book I was embarrassed to say I have liked, but I do have one that I am embarrassed to say that I have read. This is the 'Twilight' saga. I began reading them as the first film was released and there was a big hype. I'm not a fan of watching a film and then reading the book - I have to read the book first. I decided to give 'Twilight' a try and see what the fuss was all about. I wish I'd never picked the book up - it was slow, boring, dull and emotionless - just as bad the films that followed.
That's just my opinion however - you may have a different view!
Do you have a book you're embarrassed to say you have read? Or liked? Let me know in the comments!
